I believe that Martial Arts training brings out the best versions of people. NexGen Martial Arts has been proudly serving the Baton Rouge area for the last 5 years. Our martial art’s programs teaches not only physical self-defense techniques but important life skills such as discipline, respect and confidence to stand up to peer pressure and become tomorrow's leaders. Infact, our primary mission is to use martial arts as a medium to teach personal development and life skills. We do this by teaching our programs with four key areas of focus: Structure, Emotion, Knowledge, & Legacy. Every class we Teach is STRUCTURED, organized, and designed to instill DISCIPLINE. Over time, this is the key to building CONFIDENCE. About 80% of all our decisions are based on our EMOTIONS. We focus on the state of mind and body. This helps our students grow at an accelerated rate on the mats, in school, and in their careers. All of our students know that KNOWLEDGE is key. Students are taught that with a greater level of knowledge and understanding there isn't a problem that they aren't equipped to handle. This is why NexGen students are naturally inclined to become leaders in their community. Which brings me to our last key area of focus, LEGACY. Anyone who is successful knows that the secret to living is giving. Our students are taught that it is their responsibility to contribute beyond themselves. Whether it's being a good role model, helping inside our school, or serving in the community, NexGen students are always looking to leave a legacy of positivity and contribution.
